Service Agreement

Thank you for choosing Aqua Shine Pool Services—we truly appreciate the opportunity to serve you. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and ensuring your pool is always clean, safe, and enjoyable.

This Service Agreement is intended to outline the general expectations and guidelines for your ongoing pool service with Aqua Shine Pools. It applies to all current and future service customers and is meant to create a clear, shared understanding of how our services are provided.As our business grows, these guidelines may be updated occasionally to reflect changes or improvements. Continued service indicates understanding of the guidelines outlined below.

Terms of Service

• Either party may terminate service with 30 days’ written notice.
• Aqua Shine may pause service if account is more than 15 days past due.
• Clients must maintain a functioning cleaning system (e.g., in-floor, suction, or pressure-side cleaner). Additional charges may apply if non-compliant.

Weekly Service Includes

• One visit per week, year-round (unless noted in the Quote or for holidays)
• Testing and balancing water chemistry (chlorine, pH, etc)
• Application of maintenance-level chemicals, which are tested, balanced, and billedmonthly
• Brushing walls, steps, love seats
• Emptying skimmer and pump baskets
• Backwashing and/or salt cell cleaning (as needed)
• Time clock check (as needed)
• Email service logs with notes/photos (when available)
• Gates closed/locked post-service
• Vacuuming is performed on an as-needed basis, as determined by Aqua Shine. This typically does not exceed twice per month. Additional cleanup visits or charges mayapply in the event of storms, excessive debris, or other extraordinary conditions.
Technicians will be uniformed and respectful of the neighborhood and property

Note:
On rainy days, service may be limited to chemicals and baskets only (no refund given).

Water Level Maintenance Responsibility

Customer acknowledges that maintaining proper water levels in the pool and/or spa or other bodies of water are the sole responsibility of the Customer. Aqua Shine Pools is not responsible for topping off or maintaining water levels during regular service visits.

At the Customer’s request, Aqua Shine Pools may dispatch a technician to assist with adjusting water levels. This service is not included in the standard service agreement and will incur an additional charge. Customers must contact the Aqua Shine Pools office for pricing and scheduling.

Aqua Shine Pools is not responsible for equipment damage, chemical imbalance, or operationalissues resulting from improper water levels when levels are not properly maintained by the Customer.

Holiday Closures

Aqua Shine Pool Services will be closed on the following holidays:

Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following Thanksgiving
Only a chemical check and basket service will be performed during this week. Full weekly rates will remain in effect and are built into your set weekly pricing.
One week during the Christmas holiday
Aqua Shine Pool Services will not be providing service during this week to allow our technicians a well-deserved break with their friends and families. We thank you for your understanding and continued support. Full weekly rates will remain in effect and are built into your set weekly pricing.
Single-day holiday adjustments
If your regular service day falls on a holiday, service may be rescheduled to the day before or after.  Aqua Shine does perform service on many major holidays. If your pool will be in use and you would prefer to move service day, please notify our office in advance.

Additional chemical preparation and/or cleanup will be performed before and after these holidays to ensure proper care.

Repairs and Special Charges

All repairs require prior client approval.
Repairs over $50 must be authorized by the client before work begins.
Repairs over $500 may require a 50% deposit, with the balance due upon completion.
Emergency repairs under $75 may be performed without prior approval to prevent equipment damage or safety issues.
Extra service visits requested by the client will be billed at a minimum of $75, unless a different rate is arranged in advance.
Filter cleaning is performed twice per year at $145 per clean, unless other arrangements are made.
- If a third party performs filter cleaning, written notice and confirmation of completion must be provided.
After Hours/Emergency Services are available and may result in a $225 minimum charge. You may request these services by calling our office line. After hours is after 3:30 PM M-F and weekends.

Filter Maintenance Disclaimer

Aqua Shine Pools is not responsible or liable for any damage, equipment failure, water quality issues, or system malfunctions resulting from a customer’s failure or refusal to properly maintain pool filters. This includes, but is not limited to, declining, delaying, or neglecting there commended twice-per-year filter cleanings. Some systems may require additional cleaning due to weather or other circumstances.

If a customer chooses not to authorize or maintain the required filter cleanings, Aqua Shine Pools makes no guarantees regarding pool performance, water clarity, circulation, or equipment longevity related to the filtration system. Any repairs, replacements, or corrective services resulting from inadequate filter maintenance will be the sole responsibility of the customer and billed accordingly.

Additional Charges May Apply For:

• Algae treatment
• Storm debris cleanup
• Small animal removal
• Debris caused by other vendors or landscapers

Pool Access

• Unrestricted access required on service day.
• Missed service due to locked gates or obstacles may still be billed.
• Use of combo lock or lockbox is recommended. Lockboxes available for $25.

Pool Nets or Covers

• Aqua Shine does not remove or reinstall safety nets or covers.
• Safety nets and covers must be removed prior to service and reinstalled by a qualified property representative.
• For other types of removable barriers or covers, an additional fee may apply for removal and reinstallation, subject to approval.
• Any covers present during our visit may limit the services we are able to perform during scheduled maintenance.
• A signed liability waiver may be required for any approved removal or reinstallation.

Pets

We understand that pets are part of your family, and we always do our best to be mindful of them during our visits. However, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to ensure that all pets are properly secured before each scheduled service. If you don’t have a separate fenced area for your dogs, please make sure they are kept inside or away from the backyard on your service day. While we always close gates behind us, AquaShine Pool Services cannot be held responsible if a pet escapes during our visit.

Client Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you ever feel that a service wasn’t completed to your expectations or have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are committed to resolving issues quickly and professionally. Your feedback helps us improve, and we genuinely welcome it at any time.

Communication

• Clients must keep contact information up to date.
Email is the primary method of communication. Timely review is essential.
• Important notices, invoices, and approvals are shared electronically.

Payments

Auto Pay is the preferred method of payment. Clients may place their credit or ACH account on autopay by calling our office at
480-788-9772 or by using our customer portal.
• Checks are accepted, but electronic payments are strongly encouraged for efficiency.
• Payments must be updated within 5 days if declined.
• Late fees: $15 or 18%, whichever is greater, may be applied monthly.
• At 15 days overdue, service may be suspended.
• At 30 days, balance is considered delinquent and may be sent to collections.
Credit card payments over $2,500 may require a 3% credit card surcharge. This surcharge applies to the total invoice amount and still applies when splitting up payments.
